Based on traditional Oriental / Chinese medicine diagnosis, I offer the following services to treat your health conditions:
- acupuncture,
- herbal medicine,
- moxibustion,
- advice on way of life, diet
- cupping, guasha (scraping), acu-pressure
Depending on your health condition, one or a combination of those modalities will be used to treat both the symptoms (branch) and the root cause of your ailment (constitution).
Fees schedule
Visits
Initial visit: $95, up to 50 minutes:
- up to 25 minutes of discussion,
- up to 25 minutes of treatment, or longer treatment without discussion.
Base acupuncture treatment: $55, up to 30 minutes:
- up to 5 minutes to update on the progress,
- up to 25 minutes of treatment
- After an initial consultation, all follow up visit starts with this base visit. This is suitable for to-the-point treatments, with minimum talking time. Fees will be adjusted up accordingly at a rate of $10 per 5 minutes.
Herbal treatment review: $55, up to 15 minutes of discussion. Herbal products are extra.
No show fee: $50
Cancellation within 24h: $30
Insurance
- Insurance billing is under Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners (R.TCMP), or Acupuncturists (R.Ac). Please ask your insurer if they cover services provided by TCM Practitioner or Acupuncturists. Do NOT only ask for "acupuncture".
- Although patients sometimes calls me "doctor TRAN", or "doctor Giao", or "doctor G" because I healed their ailments, I am however NOT a medical doctor (MD).
- Upon reception of your payment, an official receipt will be provided.
Herbal Products
All visits excludes herbal products.
Selection of organic, medical grade, premium, or labs-tested for unwanted chemicals herbal products are available onsite for your convenience. Their cost is higher than the conventional grades, even though their sale is not-for-profit. You are under no obligation to purchase herbal products at the clinic.
All herbal compounding and open products are final. Please order your herbal compounding refills at least 24 hours ahead of your visit by email alongside with your deposit of $30.
There are 3 main forms of herbal products:
- Decoction, most potent, versatile method, usually reserved for treatment phase. You will cook your herbs twice weekly to enjoy their freshness. You cook the herbs like you would cook your vegetable soup / broth. The cost ranges from $5 to $20 or more a day. Average is $10 a day.
- Concentrated granules, decocted herbs are vacuum-dried and condensed into soluble powder. This form is less potent and less fresh than the decoction, but is convenient: there is no cooking involved. The cost ranges from $5 to $20 or more a day. Average is $10 a day.
- Pills form: this is suitable for maintenance phase. The cost ranges from $2 to $6 a day.
Preparations for your visit
For each visit
- Bring shorts to change into or wear very loose, baggy cloths that can easily rolled up to knees and elbow level
- Bring inside with you minimal personal item, shorts to change into, your calendar and wallets
- Drink a bit of water (not cold) before coming inside
