Cancer care

image18

I support, relieve cancer patients of various health issues they may experience due to the nature of their disease or their cancer treatment-related side-effects, both for children and adults, before, during, and after cancer treatments. The objective is to improve quality of life, to experience a serene journey of cancer care and to optimize the outcome of the treatments.

I see hundreds of newly diagnosed cancer patients a year. This experience provides me the expertise to assist patients in a variety of way. With proper care and some changes in your way of life, you may appreciate life again both during and after your journey of cancer care.

General Health

Although cancer care occupies most of my time, I also see general public for other (challenging) health conditions. Ages range from babies to seniors. Treatments can be with or without needles.  The objective is to address the imbalances safely, and effectively.

Frequently seen conditions are chronic ones as most patients have exhausted numbers of other medical systems before they come and see me. Those conditions belong to the domains of pain, respiratory, digestive, urinary, fertility, men and women,  mobility disorders. Stress, anxiety, sleep, vertigo, seizure, tremors and other un-common imbalances are also frequently seen.

Integrative Medicine

Certain condition is believed impossible to treat in one system of medicine can be alleviated, treated or cured in other system of medicine. From that observation, integrative medicine has emerged. The ideal is to work together with the objective to improve patients health, safely and effectively. Referring patients to the right practitioner for a medical condition is a form of caring. Knowing when and where to refer requires knowledge, understanding and compassion.

I am honoured to have patients and healthcare professionals trust when it comes to treat protracted conditions which need multi-disciplinary approach.

Traditional Chinese Medicine

image21

Traditional Chinese Medicine or TCM is an empirical, time-tested medicine of thousands of years that comprises TCM herbology, acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, Guasha, and Qi balancing. TCM Practitioners are regulated, and are authorized to perform those modalities. Its use is a natural, safe and effective way to promote health, and treat a wide range of diseases and ailments.

Acupuncture & Moxibustion

Acupuncture and Moxibustion use needles and heat stimulations to re-establish the free flow of the Qi and Blood. Their original use was based on Traditional Chinese Medicinne (TCM) diagnosis in a much different way than the current, overly-simplified version seen in some professions. With rigorous TCM diagnosis, my patients benefit clinical results that go beyond pain management and neurological disorders.

Prevention & Preservation

Heath is a sense of equilibrium. As we walk through the four seasons, we learn to balance and simplify our life, to let go attachments, to re-centre ourselves. Through constant refinement, we navigate through changes with ease, inner peace. This frictionless, effortless approach to life preserves our health and wellbeing, and helps us to move away from disease management to disease prevention.
