Whole body approach

Cancer care

I support, relieve cancer patients of various health issues they may experience due to the nature of their disease or their cancer treatment-related side-effects, both for children and adults, before, during, and after cancer treatments. The objective is to improve quality of life, to experience a serene journey of cancer care and to optimize the outcome of the treatments.

I see hundreds of newly diagnosed cancer patients a year. This experience provides me the expertise to assist patients in a variety of way. With proper care and some changes in your way of life, you may appreciate life again both during and after your journey of cancer care.

General Health

Although cancer care occupies most of my time, I also see non-cancer patients for general health and other challenging health conditions. Ages range from babies to seniors. Treatments can be with or without needles or herbal medicine. The objective is to address the imbalances effectively.

Frequently seen conditions are chronic ones as most patients have exhausted other medical systems before they come and see me. Those conditions are related to domains of pain management, respiratory, digestive, urinary, fertility, men and women,  mobility disorders. Stress, anxiety, sleep, vertigo, seizure and tremors and other un-common imbalances are also frequently seen.

Integrative Medicine

Sometimes, a condition is believed impossible to treat in one system of medicine can be alleviated, treated or cured in other system of medicine. From that observation, integrative medicine has emerged. The ideal is to work together with the objective to improve patients health, safely and effectively. Referring patients to the right practitioner for a medical condition is a form of caring. Knowing when and where to refer requires knowledge, understanding and compassion.

I am honoured to have patients and healthcare professionals, from general practitioners to specialists, trust when it comes to treat protracted conditions which need multi-disciplinary approach.

Acupuncture & Moxibustion

TCM acupuncture uses thin needles to stimulate acupoints in order to re-establish free flow of the Qi and Blood. Moxibustion or heat therapy uses heat to warm the channels, augment the Qi and nurture the body Essence. With proper TCM diagnosis, patients enjoy clinical results that go beyond pain management and neurological disorders.

Herbal Medicine

Herbal medicine uses roots, stems, leaves, flowers or seeds to improve health, prevent disease and treat illness. Alongside with acupuncture and moxibustion, cupping and Qi balancing, herbal medicine is part of the empirical, time-tested, Traditional East Asian or Chinese Medicine (TEAM or TCM). Its use is a natural, safe way to promote health.

Through constant refinement, we navigate through changes with ease, inner peace. This frictionless, effortless approach to life preserves our health and wellbeing. We may achieve this goal together.
